The number of successful applications varies from year-to-year depending on the individual merits of the applications received.Last year, investments were made into seven compelling projects; four from individual writers and three from publishing organisations that demonstrated sector growth. See here for more details on last years winners.
In 2015, the selection panel saw a strong mix of projects that applications were received for. CEO of CLNZ, Paula Browning, said “The Contestable Fund criteria were established with broad scope and the diversity of applications last year endorses this approach. We hope to see this varied range in applications again in 2016.”
