There is no doubt; books published for education are one of a kind. The entries for this year’s CLNZ Educational Publishing Awards are rich in culture, colour and bursting with useful content for teachers and students alike. Wrapped in a glossy, well designed cover, these books highly appealing and quite frankly, hard to resist.
One judge described the diverse range of entries as a ‘pot pourri of content’. While overall the standard of entry was extremely high, the finalists stood out as having the most relevance for their category and a definite ‘wow’ factor.

- Hone Apanui, an educator, writer, translator and editor in both English and Māori
- Dr Rebecca Jesson, Research Fellow, School of Curriculum and Pedagogy, Education Faculty, University of Auckland.
This year also sees the launch of the CLNZ Educational Publishing Awards logo. The winners will be announced at a stunning new event venue - The Wharf, Northcote Point on 14 November.
