CLNZ | NZSA Announce Secondary School Leavers Scholarship - Open Now!

Launched by Copyright Licensing New Zealand (CLNZ) in partnership with the New Zealand Society of Authors Te Puni Kaituhi o Aotearoa (NZSA), this inaugural scholarship is designed to nurture the next generation of writers as they transition from secondary school into tertiary study.

$25,000 CLNZ | NZSA Writers' Award has been awarded to writer Vincent O'Malley

Vincent O’Malley has been awarded the 2025 Copyright Licensing New Zealand (CLNZ) and The New Zealand Society of Authors (NZSA) Te Puni Kaituhi O Aotearoa (PEN NZ) Inc, $25,000 Writers’ Award for his project, with the working title, ‘Whenua: Māori Land Loss Since 1840’.
